Brady Freese

Board Member, Social Chair

Brady Freese and his wife, Lucie, moved to Park Crossing in 2018 with their son, Tate. You can find the Freese family at the pool most any night of the week. Brady was appointed to the Board in 2020 to fill the role of a member who moved away. It was a very natural fit as he had been heavily involved in making many of the Club‘s social events a success. He is now the Social Chair for the Club and knows a thing or two about throwing a great party. He likes long walks on short piers and gets emotional during gladiator movies. If you haven’t already, sure you take the time to join in some of the fun events that the Club puts on thanks to Brady’s sage party wisdom.

Brittany Grady

Board Member, Pool Chair

Brittany Grady and her husband, Brendan, live in Tresanton. You’ve likely seen her (literally) running around the neighborhood. Brittany has 3 beautiful girls who are very active in the Rec Club Community, most notably involved with the pool, swim team, and volleyball. Brittany is currently Pool Chair and is excited to serve our members by helping to maintain and improve the pool facilities so that they serve the needs of our members for years to come.

Chad Ayers

Club Manager

Chad Ayers is employed by the Rec Club as General Manager. Chad manages all of the day to day needs and logistics to keep the Club running smoothly. We couldn’t do it without him! Chad, his wife (Christine), and their three daughters have been happily living in Park Crossing since the summer of 2006. He has thoroughly enjoyed all the activities and friendly neighbors throughout the years. In previous years, Chad has served as the Hanover neighborhood representative on the PCOA Board. Chad has been working with the Board and the members as the General Manager of PCRC since 2019.

David Morgan

Board Member, Treasurer

David Morgan and his wife, Maryangela (a retired guidance counselor at Charlotte Catholic), have been Park Crossing residents since 1983 where they raised two children; they now have three grandchildren. David has been on the Board for twelve years and has served as a past president and is currently Treasurer. David retired from Bank of America as a private banker, and is currently working at a private investment firm. David is the announcer for CCHS basketball games. He is excited about the expansion of Club activities with pickleball courts and an improved toddler pool. He would love more member involvement in social activities.

Jenny Beacham

Bookkeeper, Secretary

Jenny Beacham and her husband, Brooke, have lived in the neighborhood since 2009 and have 2 daughters, Tybee and Colbie. She currently serves as Secretary for the Rec Club Board. She took over as Rec Club Manager in 2019 when Sue Kueser retired, but transitioned to part-time Bookkeeper for the Club during the pandemic. Jenny is an avid tennis player and spends many hours on the PCRC courts.

Katie Gignac

Board Member

Katie Gignac and her husband, Brad, moved to Park Crossing in 2016 and have three girls: Natalie, Leah, and Emily. Katie has the privilege of being home to watch her three girls grow (and get them snacks). She joined the Board last year and is really enjoying it. She loves to spend as much time as she can at the pool in the summer (shoutout to the Park Crossing Dolphins - summer swim team has been so much fun for their family). Her kids are loving the new playground!

Matt Ellsworth

Board Member, Vice President

Matt Ellsworth and his wife, Tracy, moved to Park Crossing in 2004 and have three girls - Greta, Ivy, and Fiona. Matt is serving as Vice President of the Board. He enjoys racquet sports and golf, so it’s no surprise that he has captained several Park Crossing tennis teams over the years and served as the Tennis Committee Chairperson from 2014 to 2022. He is thrilled with the interest and growth our racquet sports program is continuing to see.

Ron Levin

Board Member, President

Ron Levin and his wife, Melissa, moved to Park Crossing in 2009 where they finished raising their two wonderful children. In the past, Ron served as Treasurer, and is currently serving as President of the Board. When Ron joined the Board in 2015, his focus was largely in helping with the pool, and now his interests have expanded to encompass the Club as a whole.

Sebastian Sintes

Board Member, Tennis Chair

Sebastian Sintes and his wife, Karen, moved to Park Crossing in 2016 after nearly 20 year in Chicago. They are an international family; Sebastian is from Colombia, Karen is from Germany, and their kids (Amalia and Mateo) were both born in the US. Their extended families are still overseas, so finding a community with a broad family feel was an important catalyst for what led them to join the Rec Club. Sebastian joined the Board in 2022 and is the Tennis Committee Chair. He is a self-proclaimed tennis fanatic who has quickly learned to love pickleball too! He‘s helped run the men’s tennis teams for the past couple of years and welcomes the opportunity to find ways to improve our tennis and pickleball offerings. If you see him on the courts, say hello!

What is the origin of the Board, and how do Board members come and go?

The Board was incorporated in March of 1983 and has seen many different Board members come and go over the years. Per the bylaws, members are elected by the Board during regular or special Board meetings. New Board members can also be appointed to fill a vacancy; this is what prompted the addition of Brittany to the Board. Board members remain on the Board until they move, retire/voluntarily step down, are asked to leave, or die.

How do I get in touch with the Board?

If you ever have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, we welcome them! Simply email the general PCRC email address ([email protected]), and we will see to it that the appropriate Board members receive your message and can handle things from there, as needed.
